Mansfield Police Department to Move

Recently the City received the deed to the old Mercy Clinic located next to City Hall in downtown Mansfield. The City Council approved for remodeling to take place on the facility and get it ready for the Police Department to move into. Currently, the PD is located on 71 Hwy out by the High School and this will place them back into the heart of the city. They are expected to move in within a few weeks.

STORY & ACTIVITY HOUR

Starting this Monday - June 6th, the Mansfield Library located inside the City Hall will be offering a Story and Activity Hour for Children Ages 4 and up. This program will be held each Monday through July 25th from 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM. Hope to see ya there! Please Share!

MANSFIELD CITY WIDE CLEANUP - MAY 14th, 2016

This year's County Wide Cleanup will be Saturday, May 14th from 7:00 AM until 2:00 PM at the Mansfield Pubic Works (Water) Dept located at 601 E Center St. For More Info contact the water dept at 479-928-4606

SPAGHETTI SUPPER

The Mansfield/Huntington Chamber of Commerce will hold a Spaghetti Supper on Saturday, April 16th from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM at the Mansfield Senior Center. It is located at 509 S Main St in Mansfield (just south of the Mansfield Ball Park). Tickets will be on sale at the door! Adults $5.00 and children 12 and under will eat FREE!! Spaghetti along with salad, bread sticks, tea and dessert will be served. Come enjoy a great meal and some great music from the High Mountain Bluegrass Band! All proceeds will go toward this years fireworks display!!

Mansfield Volunteer Fire Department is currently in need of Firefighters and First Responders. You can help make a difference in our community by joining the Mansfield VFD. Stop by City Hall and fill out an application to start making a difference in our community.

GRANTS RECEIVED!

The City of Mansfield is excited to announce we have been awarded 2 new grants:

1.) Fire Department Matching Grant - $8,942 + $8,942 City match = $17,884 Total

2.) Dixie Theatre Community Center - Remodel Grant - $74,000 Total

The work of everyone involved at the City, Fire Department, and Elected Officials working with others from the state and county have made it possible for these grants to be received. We look forward to the onward success and growth that these grants provide for our city.
